At the office, as I sit at my desk, watching the others at their desks, busying themselves with all sorts of nonsense, here’s what I’m really thinking about: lighthouses. The sea and the lighthouses — those lonely little houses with their dim yet stubborn light piercing through the darkness, marking humanity’s need to communicate with one another. But think of how much those lighthouses endure. Storms, tempests, lightning, tornadoes… Just like some people. Haven't you met such resilient people? And one thing is certain — even they need solitude. You’ll find them where you find the lighthouses, at the edge of the loneliest shore, insisting on shining their light and offering hope to those sailing through the dark.Time doesn’t flow if you’re a realist in this world. I hear people say, "I’m a realist," but what others glance at and overlook is glaringly obvious to me — I see it clearly. I struggle not to shout at those people: "HOW MUCH DARKNESS ARE YOU CARRYING?" Just as they struggle to let it go.Do you see now how much we need lighthouses? And they say I’m daydreaming during work hours. Who says that? The dullest people you’ll ever meet — hunched over their screens, sweaty foreheads, unwashed armpits. Oh, how much they need the sea. Storms, tempests, lightning, tornadoes… all to simply become what I like to call, a decent human being.

Lily and the enchanted house

source In a quaint village nestled between rolling hills and a shimmering lake, there stood a house like no other. It was a whimsical mosaic of red, blue, green, and white, a patchwork of colors that seemed to change with the light. This house had a soul of its own, behaving much like a spoiled cat, purring contentedly or hissing in displeasure, and it was loved by a girl named Lily. Lily was a delightful sight, short and cute with flowing hair that cascaded down her back. She wore a purple dress adorned with yellow flowers, and she rode a vintage bicycle with a basket at the front, always filled with wildflowers or fresh produce from the market. She had an unspoken bond with the house, a connection that went beyond the ordinary. The house was capricious, responding to Lily's moods and needs as if it understood her innermost thoughts. When she was happy, the windows gleamed in the sunlight, and the walls seemed to hum a cheerful tune. When she was sad, the paint would dull, and the...
